TERMS OF PRACTICE
I. BRAND VISION
Kintsugi.fm is a bespoke design studio specializing in high-end motorsport aesthetics. I (Mikey Harland) treat each project as a unique, narrative canvas with it's own project number. To ensure the highest quality of service and artistic integrity, all projects are governed by our standard practice guidelines.
II. LICENSING & PROJECT SCOPE
Our designs are crafted for specific, individual projects.
-
Single-Project Integrity: Upon final completion and delivery, your project is licensed for its intended use (e.g., one specific vehicle chassis for one competition season). This ensures the design remains exclusive to your team’s identity.
- Expanding Your Project: If you wish to adapt a design for a new chassis, a different series, or a future season, please reach out. We are always happy to discuss a license renewal or extension to ensure the design remains a perfect fit for your evolving needs.
-
Usage Policy: Designs, including those created for sponsorship proposals, are protected assets. Should a design or its likeness be utilized for production without a formal license agreement, it will be invoiced at our standard rates for custom design services.
III. COLLABORATION & FILE MANAGEMENT
We view our files as an extension of our craft and prefer to manage them with care.
-
Direct Coordination: To ensure brand consistency and file integrity, we coordinate directly with your partners, print shops, or team members. If you have collaborators who need assets, simply let us know, and we will provide them with the correct files directly.
-
Asset Retention: We maintain active project files for 90 days following completion. For teams requiring long-term access, we offer an Annual Asset Hosting subscription to ensure your designs are archived and accessible whenever you need them.
IV. SPONSORSHIP MOCK-UPS
Mock-ups provided for sponsorship proposals are intended for presentation purposes. These concepts are a starting point for a conversation; they are not production-ready files. If you decide to move a proposal design into production, we will work with you to finalize the files, transitioning the project from a "proposal concept" to a "custom wrap design."
