FIRST TO THE FINISH

Got some cool news to share—First to the Finish, a new Amazon Prime docuseries, is dropping on March 25th, and it’s all about Shea Holbrook Chorley and her BSI Racing team. Kintsugi.fm has brrn proudly designing wraps for Shea/BSI for several years now so it’s going to be pretty wild seeing those designs on screen.

What First to the Finish Brings to Motorsport Fans

The series follows Shea and the team through the 2024 Mazda MX-5 Cup Championship, digging into what it’s really like out there on the track—the wins, the setbacks, all of it. The trailer for First to the Finish hits the ground running, giving a gritty glimpse into the championship through the eyes of Shea and the BSI Racing team. It’s all there—the roar of engines, the tension in the pits, and the raw drive of the team as they push their limits. You catch quick shots of the cars I’ve wrapped for BSI, their designs cutting through the chaos of race day with sharp, bold lines. The trailer doesn’t shy away from the stakes, showing the team’s highs and lows over a pulsing, high-energy beat that pulls you in. It’s a solid preview of what’s to come, and I’m stoked to see our work out there in the mix when the series drops on Amazon Prime.

Designing Wraps for BSI Racing’s Mazda MX-5

I’ve gotten to know BSI’s amazing team energy up close while working with them, and I think the show’s going to do a solid job of capturing that. Designing wraps for a racing team like BSI isn’t just about slapping on some vinyl graphics; it’s about matching their energy and making sure the car fits their brand and is bumpers are easily wrapped after the inevitibale hits these cars take racing. I’m really thankful to Shea and the BSI crew for choosing to work with me. They’ve been great to collaborate with, always open to ideas and trusting me to do my thing.

Why Mazda’s Investment in the Series Matters

And I’ve got to say, it’s great to see Mazda invest in a series like this on such a big scale. Putting it on Amazon Prime as part of their racing series lineup is going to broaden the viewership for the MX-5 Cup Championship and bring more eyes to the sport, which is awesome for everyone involved—teams, designers, fans, you name it.

Looking forward to seeing how it all comes together on screen and what it means for BSI and the racing community. Makes me want to keep pushing with motorsport design and see where else this can take us. If you’re into racing, might be worth a watch—I’ll definitely be checking it out.
